Former Rocket Scientist Invents Golf Gadgets

Reuters: BonusYards by Tom Cannon

This device does not need rocket science, but its invented by a former Rocket Scientist of NASA.

Tom Cannon found an article where Golfers were told to achieve a 45 degree upwards shot to achieve the maximum distance, by using in a square box as a guide. According to ballistics calculations for a cannon ball, or any projectile in flight, 45 degrees is the best angle for maximum distance. His solution is simply to attach a small spirit-level near to the handle so that the golfer can check the angle. The plastic device looks like a toy ring, with a flat coin-sized head that encases a bubble level that clips onto the top of the club, or grip, and includes markings to show when the club is properly aligned at a 45-degree angle.
